Terms and Conditions
- This invoice is issued by The Economist, a publication of Economist Group Limited, for services rendered and subscriptions provided to the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Abuja, Nigeria. All services are governed by the terms of the Master Service Agreement (MSA) dated 10 December 2024, Reference No. ECO/NG/MSA/2024/0087.
- Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue of this invoice. Late payments shall attract a penalty interest of 1.5% per month, calculated on the outstanding balance, in accordance with Nigerian commercial law and the terms stipulated in the MSA.
- The digital access to The Economist platform is licensed exclusively for use within the Abuja, Nigeria office premises and for authorized personnel listed in Schedule A of the MSA. Unauthorized sharing of access credentials is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension of service.
- All printed copies of The Economist delivered to Abuja are subject to the Nigeria Customs Service import regulations. Any applicable customs duties or levies, if assessed, shall be the responsibility of the subscriber.
- The Economist Intelligence Unit briefings and custom reports are confidential and intended solely for the use of the subscribing institution in Abuja. Reproduction or redistribution without prior written consent from Economist Group Limited is not permitted.
- This invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. If payment has not been received by the due date, the account may be subject to review, and service continuity in Abuja may be affected.
- Any disputes arising from this invoice or the associated services shall be resolved in accordance with the arbitration clause set out in the MSA, with proceedings to be held in Abuja, Nigeria, under the rules of the Lagos Court of Arbitration.
- The Economist Group Limited reserves the right to update subscription terms, pricing, and service offerings with a minimum of sixty (60) days written notice to the subscriber in Abuja.
