Important Notes & Terms
This invoice is issued by The Economist Subscription & Digital Services Division for the provision of editorial, analytical, and digital services to Manila Business Intelligence Group, Inc., located in Metro Manila, Philippines. All services described herein are governed by the Master Subscription Agreement dated March 1, 2025, between The Economist and the client.
The Philippine Value-Added Tax (VAT) of 12% has been applied in accordance with the National Internal Revenue Code of the Republic of the Philippines (Batas Pambansa Blg. 177, as amended). The 10% withholding tax has been deducted as required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for services rendered to a Philippine-registered entity. The client is responsible for remitting the withheld tax to the BIR within the prescribed period.
All digital access credentials for The Economist platform will be activated within three (3) business days of full payment confirmation. Physical print editions will commence delivery in the first week of July 2025 to the designated Manila address. Any changes to the delivery address within Metro Manila must be communicated in writing at least five (5) business days prior to the scheduled delivery date.
Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of this invoice. Late payments shall be subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge as stipulated in the Master Subscription Agreement. The client is advised to reference Invoice No. ECO-PHL-2025-04872 in all correspondence and remittances.
