Payment Deadline: This Invoice must be settled in full within fifteen (15) calendar days of the issue date, i.e., no later than 30 June 2025. Late payments will incur a statutory interest rate of 8.5% per annum as per Spanish commercial law (Ley 3/2004 de lucha contra la morosidad).
Important: All Economist subscriptions and digital licenses referenced in this Invoice are non-transferable and are bound to the registered entity in Spain Valencia. Any change of address, company name, or user count must be communicated to our billing department at least ten (10) business days in advance.
Terms & Conditions – Economist Media Distribution S.L.
1. This Invoice constitutes a binding commercial document under the Spanish Civil Code and the applicable regulations of the Comunitat Valenciana. All transactions are governed by the laws of Spain.
2. The Economist publications, digital content, and Economist Intelligence Unit reports are licensed, not sold. The client receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the materials for internal corporate purposes only.
3. Reproduction, redistribution, or public display of any Economist content beyond the scope of the licensed user seats is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the subscription and legal action.
4. Cancellation of any line item on this Invoice is not permitted after the issue date. Refunds are only available in cases of service failure or duplicate billing, subject to written approval from the account manager.
5. The Economist Media Distribution S.L. is the exclusive authorized distributor for The Economist and Economist Intelligence Unit products in the Spain Valencia region. All correspondence regarding this Invoice should be directed to the billing department at the address stated in the header.
6. In the event of a dispute arising from this Invoice, both parties agree to seek resolution through the Commercial Courts of Valencia (Juzgados de lo Mercantil de Valencia) as the exclusive jurisdiction.
7. This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the issue date. After this period, the Invoice may be reissued with updated pricing if applicable.
