Notes & Terms of Service
1. This invoice is issued by The Economist, East Africa Regional Office, operating legally within the Republic of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam, in accordance with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) regulations and the Income Tax Act, Cap. 332 R.E.
2. All amounts are quoted in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS). Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue, as stipulated in the service agreement dated 01 May 2025 between The Economist and the Tanzania Investment Centre.
3. Late payments shall attract a penalty interest of 2% per month, calculated on the outstanding balance, in line with Tanzania's commercial lending standards.
4. All intellectual property rights in the reports, analyses, and visualisations produced under this invoice remain the property of The Economist unless otherwise agreed in writing. The client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for internal government purposes within Tanzania.
5. This invoice is valid for one hundred and eighty (180) days from the date of issue. After this period, a revised invoice reflecting current market rates in Dar es Salaam will be issued.
