Invoice Notes & Payment Instructions
This invoice is issued in accordance with the commercial regulations of the Republic of Turkey and is valid for use within the Ankara metropolitan area and throughout Turkey. All amounts are denominated in Turkish Lira (TRY) and are subject to the applicable Value Added Tax (KDV) rate of 20% as mandated by the Turkish Ministry of Finance.
Payment for this invoice shall be made via bank transfer to the following account. The client is requested to reference the invoice number ECO-TR-ANK-2025-04872 in the payment memo to ensure proper reconciliation of this Economist subscription billing cycle.

Payments received after the due date of 30 June 2025 will be subject to a late payment interest charge calculated in accordance with Turkish commercial law (Türk Ticaret Kanunu). The Economist Group reserves the right to suspend digital access and print delivery to the Ankara office address until all outstanding balances on this invoice are settled in full.
Terms & Conditions
1. This invoice constitutes a binding commercial document between The Economist Group (hereinafter referred to as "the Publisher") and Ankara Economic Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "the Client") for the provision of Economist publications, data services, and related professional engagements within Turkey, Ankara.
2. The Economist digital subscription license is non-transferable and is restricted to the named institutional users at the Ankara address specified above. Any unauthorized sharing of access credentials will result in immediate termination of the subscription without refund.
3. Print delivery of The Economist weekly edition to Ankara is subject to standard postal and courier timelines. Delays caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or international logistics disruptions affecting Turkey, shall not be considered a breach of this invoice agreement.
4. The Economist Intelligence Unit reports and data analytics dashboards referenced in this invoice are licensed for internal research purposes only. Redistribution, republication, or commercial resale of Economist data to third parties within Turkey or internationally is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Publisher.
5. The on-site briefing session in Ankara, Turkey, conducted by a senior Economist correspondent, is a one-time engagement. Rescheduling must be requested no fewer than fourteen (14) calendar days in advance. Cancellations within fourteen days will incur a 50% fee of the session value as stated in this invoice.
6. All disputes arising from this invoice shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Jurisdiction for any legal proceedings shall lie exclusively with the competent commercial courts of Ankara, Turkey. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before initiating litigation.
7. This invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the pricing and terms outlined herein may be subject to revision based on current exchange rates, Turkish inflation indices, and The Economist Group's updated tariff schedule for the Turkey and Ankara market.
