1. This Invoice is issued by Economist Advisory Group, a registered professional Economist firm operating in Kampala, Uganda, and is governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
2. All Economist services described herein were performed in accordance with the professional standards set by the Uganda Institute of Economists and the International Association for Professional Economists.
3. The total amount stated in this Invoice is inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate of 18% as administered by the Uganda Revenue Authority, and net of the 6% withholding tax applicable to professional services in Uganda.
4. This Invoice constitutes the final billing for all Economist consulting, research, and advisory services rendered during the period of January 2025 through June 2025. No further charges will be incurred for the services listed above.
5. In the event of any dispute regarding the amounts or services detailed in this Invoice, both parties agree to first seek resolution through mediation in Kampala, Uganda, before pursuing any legal action in the courts of Uganda.
6. This Invoice must be presented to the Uganda Revenue Authority for tax clearance purposes where applicable under the Income Tax Act, 2010 (as amended).
