Important Notes & Terms
1. This invoice is issued in accordance with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations of the United Arab Emirates. The 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) has been applied as per the UAE VAT Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017).
2. All print editions of The Economist will be dispatched from our London distribution centre and delivered to the specified address in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, within five (5) business days of each weekly publication date. Customs duties, if applicable, are included in the courier charges listed above.
3. Digital access licences are non-transferable and restricted to the named employees of Al Nahyan Corporate Media Ltd. as registered in Abu Dhabi. Access will be provisioned within 48 hours of confirmed payment.
4. The Executive Briefing Service provides daily economic and geopolitical intelligence relevant to the Abu Dhabi and wider UAE market, including sector-specific analysis for energy, finance, and trade.
5. Late payments are subject to a penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding balance, in compliance with UAE commercial law. The subscription service may be suspended after 30 days of non-payment.
6. This invoice constitutes a valid tax document for the purposes of UAE corporate tax and VAT reporting. Please retain this document for your statutory records.
