Invoice Notes & Payment Instructions
This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Belgian Federal Law of 22 April 2019 on invoicing (Loi fédérale du 22 avril 2019 relative à la facturation). All Editor services described herein were performed by qualified editorial professionals registered and operating in Belgium Brussels.
Please remit payment of the full Invoice amount of €20,889.44 via bank transfer to the IBAN listed above within thirty (30) calendar days of the Invoice date. Late payments are subject to a statutory interest rate of 10% per annum as prescribed by Belgian law, plus a fixed recovery cost of €40 per Invoice.

Terms and Conditions – Editor Services in Belgium Brussels
1. All Editor services provided under this Invoice are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Belgium, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Brussels, Belgium Brussels.
2. The Editor retains full intellectual property rights over all editorial methodologies, annotation systems, and proprietary review frameworks employed during the engagement. The client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the edited manuscript as delivered.
3. Confidentiality: The Editor agrees to maintain strict confidentiality over all manuscript content, business plans, and proprietary information shared during the course of the engagement in Belgium Brussels. This obligation survives for a period of five (5) years following the final delivery.
4. Revisions: The Invoice covers the scope of work as itemised above. Any additional Editor revisions, re-edits, or scope changes beyond the agreed deliverables will be invoiced separately at the applicable hourly rate.
5. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions in Belgium Brussels, or pandemics.
6. This Invoice constitutes a complete and final statement of all Editor services rendered during the billing period. No additional charges will be applied to this Invoice after the due date unless mutually agreed in writing.
