Invoice Terms & Conditions
1. This Invoice covers all editorial services rendered by the Editor to the Client within the municipality of Brazil Rio de Janeiro during the period of June 1, 2025, through September 30, 2025. All work is performed in compliance with Brazilian editorial regulations and ABNT standards.
2. Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the issue date of this Invoice. Late payments shall accrue a monthly interest rate of 1.5% as stipulated under Brazilian commercial law (Código Civil, Art. 406).
3. The Editor reserves the right to suspend ongoing services if payment is not received by the due date. A grace period of five (5) business days will be granted before any suspension takes effect.
4. All deliverables produced by the Editor remain the intellectual property of the Client upon full settlement of this Invoice. The Editor retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with prior written consent.
5. This Invoice is subject to the tax regulations of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the Federal Republic of Brazil. The Client is responsible for any additional withholding taxes applicable under Brazilian fiscal law.
6. Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through the courts of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in accordance with the jurisdiction agreed upon by both parties.
7. The Editor guarantees a minimum of two (2) revision cycles for each editorial deliverable at no additional cost. Revisions beyond the included cycles will be billed at the standard hourly rate of R$ 350.00 per hour.
