- This Invoice covers all editorial services performed by the Editor exclusively during the stated period. Any additional revisions requested after the final proofreading stage will be billed separately under a supplementary Invoice.
- All work products, including the edited manuscripts and the style guide, remain the intellectual property of the client upon full settlement of this Invoice. The Editor retains the right to reference the completed project in a professional portfolio.
- The Editor confirms that all editorial work was performed in accordance with the Ghanaian Labour Act (Act 651) and that all applicable taxes have been accounted for in this Invoice as directed by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in Ghana Accra.
- Should the client dispute any line item on this Invoice, a written notice of dispute must be submitted to the Editor's billing office in Ghana Accra within seven (7) business days of the Invoice date. Undisputed portions remain payable on the original due date.
- Late payments are subject to a penalty interest of 2% per month, calculated from the due date, in line with the standard commercial practices observed in Ghana Accra's publishing and media sector.
- This Invoice is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in Ghana Accra in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1968 (Act 129).
- The Editor warrants that all editorial services were performed with professional diligence, accuracy, and in strict adherence to the agreed-upon scope of work outlined in the original service agreement dated 20 April 2025.
- Confidentiality: The Editor agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all manuscript content, author identities, and unpublished material handled during the engagement in Ghana Accra. This obligation survives the completion of this Invoice by a period of five (5) years.
- This Invoice constitutes the final and complete statement of charges for the services described herein. No additional fees, expenses, or surcharges shall be levied beyond the amounts itemised above unless a written amendment is executed by both parties.
- The Editor reserves the right to suspend any ongoing or future editorial work if payment for this Invoice or any prior Invoice remains outstanding beyond the stipulated due date.
