Terms & Conditions of This Invoice
- This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for editorial services rendered by the Editor at PenCraft Editorial Ltd., operating from Kenya Nairobi, to Savanna Media Group Ltd.
- All editorial work described in this Invoice was performed by a qualified, licensed Editor in accordance with the Kenya Press and Publications Council (KPPC) guidelines and the Kenya Copyright Act (Cap 130).
- The Editor retains intellectual property rights over editorial methodologies, annotation templates, and proprietary style guides used during the engagement. All rights to the edited manuscript remain with the client upon full settlement of this Invoice.
- Payment is due within fourteen (14) days from the date of this Invoice. Overdue balances will be subject to a late payment charge of two percent (2%) per month, calculated on the outstanding amount.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through mediation in Kenya Nairobi under the auspices of the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA), failing which the matter shall be referred to the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi.
- This Invoice is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Editor reserves the right to reissue the Invoice with updated tax calculations as directed by the Kenya Revenue Authority.
- All services were delivered in person at the Editor's office in Kenya Nairobi unless otherwise stated. Travel and accommodation costs for off-site engagements are billed separately and are not included in this Invoice.
- The Editor warrants that all editorial work has been performed to a professional standard consistent with industry best practices in Kenya Nairobi and the broader East African publishing sector.
- Confidentiality: The Editor agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the content of the manuscript and all business information disclosed during the engagement, in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
