1. Payment of the full invoice amount of CAD $137,280.15 is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date, no later than July 12, 2025. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the professional services agreement dated February 14, 2025, between the Film Director and Northlight Productions Inc.
2. Payment shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the Film Director's business account at Desjardins Group, Branch 0047, Canada Montreal. Account details are available upon written request. Cheques payable to "J.R. Beaumont Film Direction Inc." may also be accepted.
3. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) as stipulated under the Quebec Civil Code and the Canada Business Corporations Act. The Film Director reserves the right to suspend all further creative services until outstanding balances are settled in full.
4. All services described in this Invoice were performed exclusively within the jurisdiction of Canada Montreal, Province of Quebec, Canada. The Film Director is registered for both the federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the Quebec Sales Tax (QST) as required by the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Québec, respectively.
5. This Invoice constitutes the final and complete statement of all Film Director services rendered for the production period specified above. No additional charges shall apply unless a written change order is executed by both parties prior to the commencement of any additional work.
The Film Director, Jonathan R. Beaumont, is a certified member of the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) and holds a professional practice certificate issued by the Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d'État (CÉA) of Quebec. All services rendered under this Invoice comply with the collective bargaining agreements of the DGC and the applicable labour standards of the Province of Quebec.
The production "Les Rues de Montréal" was filmed entirely within the city limits of Canada Montreal and its surrounding boroughs. The Film Director acknowledges receipt of the production tax credit incentive provided by the Quebec government under the Cinéma et Télévision Québec (CTQ) program, which has been separately accounted for by Northlight Productions Inc. and is not reflected in this Invoice.
All creative materials, including but not limited to storyboards, shot lists, rehearsal notes, editorial notes, and director's commentary, remain the intellectual property of the Film Director unless otherwise specified in the master services agreement. Northlight Productions Inc. retains full ownership of the finished film and all associated distribution rights as per the production contract.
This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Film Director reserves the right to reissue the Invoice with applicable late fees.
