Terms, Conditions & Notes
1. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Service Agreement dated 1 March 2025 between Meridian Visual Productions Sdn. Bhd. and Horizon Entertainment Group (M) Sdn. Bhd. for the engagement of a Film Director for the feature film production "Straits of Memory."
2. All services rendered by the Film Director are subject to the creative brief and production schedule mutually agreed upon in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. Any changes to scope beyond the agreed deliverables will be invoiced separately.
3. Payment is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this Invoice. Late payments shall attract a penalty interest of 2% per month as stipulated under Malaysian commercial law.
4. The Film Director retains full creative authority over artistic decisions during principal photography and post-production, as outlined in Section 7 of the master agreement. The production company reserves the right to request up to three (3) revision passes on the final cut.
5. All intellectual property rights in the finished film shall vest in Horizon Entertainment Group (M) Sdn. Bhd. upon full and final settlement of this Invoice. The Film Director retains the right to display the work in personal portfolios and at Malaysian and international film festivals.
6. This Invoice is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying services shall be resolved through arbitration in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur in accordance with the rules of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).
7. The Film Director and all crew members are covered under a comprehensive production insurance policy (Policy No. PICC-2025-88412) held by the production company for the duration of the shoot in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur and all secondary locations.
