Invoice Notes & Payment Instructions
This Invoice is issued by the undersigned Film Director for professional creative services rendered in connection with the production of the feature film "Karachi Nights." All services were performed primarily in Pakistan Karachi, Sindh Province, and comply with the regulations set forth by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) of Pakistan and the Sindh Sales Tax Authority.
Payment Method: Bank Transfer / T/T to the IBAN listed above. Please reference Invoice No. PKR-KHI-2025-00472 in your payment remarks. Payments made within 15 days of the Invoice date are eligible for the 2% early payment discount as stated above.
Currency: All amounts are denominated in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). No foreign currency transactions are applicable for this Invoice.
Terms & Conditions of This Invoice
- This Invoice is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Payment must be received by 30 June 2025 to avoid late payment penalties of 1.5% per month as per Pakistani commercial law.
- The Film Director retains full creative ownership of all direction methodologies, shot compositions, and artistic interpretations developed during the engagement. The client receives a non-exclusive license to use the final film product as per the separate Production Agreement dated 10 January 2025.
- All services described in this Invoice were rendered in Pakistan Karachi unless otherwise specified. Any additional location work outside Karachi will be invoiced separately with prior written approval from the client.
- The Film Director is registered with the Pakistan Film Producers Association (PFPA) and holds a valid professional license issued by the Sindh Film Censor Board. All work complies with the Cinematograph Act, 1952 (as amended) applicable in Pakistan.
- Withholding tax of 5% has been deducted as per Section 149 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 of Pakistan. The client is responsible for filing the relevant tax returns with the FBR.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
- This Invoice does not constitute a guarantee of box-office performance, audience reception, or commercial success of the final film. The Film Director's obligation is limited to the professional creative services as itemized herein.
