Terms, Conditions & Notes Regarding This Invoice
1. This Invoice is issued by Dr. Kenji Tanaka, a licensed and certified Geologist registered with the Japan Geological Society and the Japan Kyoto Prefectural Board of Professional Geologists. All services described herein were performed in accordance with Japanese national geological survey standards (JIS G 0500) and the specific regulatory requirements of the Japan Kyoto municipal authority.
2. Payment of this Invoice is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the Invoice date via bank transfer to the account specified above. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Japanese commercial law (Act on Special Provisions Concerning Delayed Payment of Compensation).
3. The Geologist warrants that all geological data, core sample analyses, and interpretive findings presented in the accompanying technical report are accurate to the best of professional scientific knowledge and were obtained using calibrated, ISO-certified field and laboratory equipment.
4. This Invoice covers all fieldwork, laboratory analysis, reporting, and consultation services rendered between January 6, 2025, and February 28, 2025, within the administrative boundaries of Japan Kyoto. Any additional geological surveys, follow-up investigations, or emergency site assessments requested after the service period shall be invoiced separately.
5. The Geologist retains intellectual property rights over the proprietary analytical methods and interpretive frameworks employed during this engagement. The client, Kyoto Municipal Infrastructure Development Bureau, receives a non-exclusive license to use the final report and associated data for municipal planning purposes within Japan Kyoto.
6. All fieldwork conducted in the Japan Kyoto region complied with local environmental protection ordinances, including the Kyoto Prefectural Natural Environment Conservation Act. No permanent alterations to geological formations or protected natural sites were made during the course of this project.
7. Should the client require the Geologist to attend a subsequent Japan Kyoto City Council hearing to present or defend the geological findings, such attendance will be billed at the standard consultation rate of ¥45,000 per session, subject to a minimum of two (2) sessions.
8. This Invoice is valid for one hundred eighty (180) days from the date of issue. After this period, the client must request a reissued Invoice from the Geologist's office in Japan Kyoto.
