Notes and Terms of Service
This Invoice is issued by Ms. Catherine A. Morrison, a licensed and registered Journalist operating under the Canadian Code of Journalism Ethics and the Ontario Press Council guidelines. All journalistic work performed under this engagement was conducted in full compliance with the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Ontario Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), and applicable municipal bylaws within Canada Toronto.
All materials, including written articles, photographic content, audio recordings, and research documents produced by the Journalist under this Invoice, remain the intellectual property of Morrison Media & Journalism Services until full payment is received. Upon clearance of the Grand Total, a non-exclusive, perpetual licence for editorial use is granted to Northlake Publishing Group Inc. for print and digital distribution within Canada and internationally.
Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the Invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as permitted under the Ontario Business Corporations Act. This Invoice is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Toronto.
The Journalist confirms that all sources were handled in accordance with professional confidentiality standards, and no information was disclosed that would compromise the safety or identity of any individual. All fieldwork was conducted within the legal boundaries of Canada Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
