Payment Terms: Net 30 days from the date of issue. Payment is due no later than 15 July 2025. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 231/2002 on late payment in commercial transactions.
Notes and Terms
1. This invoice is issued in accordance with the freelance journalist service agreement dated 1 January 2025 between Dr. Elena Marchetti and Corriere della Capitale S.r.l., governing the provision of professional journalism and editorial services within the city of Rome, Italy.
2. All journalistic content produced under this engagement remains the intellectual property of the client upon full payment of the amounts specified herein. The journalist retains the right to be credited by name as the author of all published material.
3. The journalist confirms that all reporting activities were conducted in full compliance with the Italian Press Law (Legge 47/1948), the Code of Ethics of the Ordine dei Giornalisti, and applicable data protection regulations under the GDPR and the Italian Privacy Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003).
4. The withholding tax (ritenuta d'acconto) of 20% has been applied as required by Article 25 of the Italian TUIR (Testo Unico delle Imposte sui Redditi) for payments made to self-employed professionals providing journalistic services.
5. This invoice is valid for a period of twelve months from the date of issue. The client is requested to retain this document for tax and accounting purposes in accordance with Italian fiscal regulations (Codice della P.IVA).
6. Any disputes arising from this invoice or the underlying service agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rome, Italy, in accordance with Italian civil procedure law.
