This Invoice certifies that all journalist services listed above were personally performed by Kenji Tanaka, a licensed and registered journalist operating under the Japan Press Club Association (JPCA) membership number JPCA-2019-004472. All reporting was conducted in full compliance with the Japan Tokyo Media Ethics Code and the National Press Club of Japan's standards of conduct.
All raw footage, unedited transcripts, and source documents related to this engagement remain the intellectual property of the journalist unless otherwise specified in the master service agreement dated March 1, 2025. The client receives a perpetual, non-exclusive license to publish the final deliverables listed in this Invoice.
Payment for this Invoice is to be remitted via bank transfer to the account specified below. Please reference Invoice number JPT-2025-04871 in the transfer memo to ensure proper accounting reconciliation on both ends.

Payment Deadline: This Invoice is payable within thirty (30) calendar days of the issue date. Late payments are subject to a penalty interest rate of 1.5% per month, in accordance with the Late Payment of Compensation Act (Act No. 51 of 1999) as applicable in Japan Tokyo commercial transactions.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying journalist engagement shall be resolved through mediation under the Japan Tokyo Commercial Arbitration Association before proceeding to litigation in the Tokyo District Court.
Confidentiality: The journalist agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all source identities, unpublished information, and internal client communications encountered during the performance of services described in this Invoice. This obligation survives the conclusion of the engagement for a period of five (5) years.
Governing Law: This Invoice and all associated services are governed by the laws of Japan, with particular reference to commercial and media regulations applicable in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
