- This Invoice is issued by a registered independent Journalist operating within the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria Abuja, and is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Payment is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of issue. Late payments shall attract a penalty interest of 2% per month as stipulated under Nigerian commercial practice.
- All journalistic content, including written articles, photographs, audio recordings, and video footage produced under this Invoice, shall become the exclusive intellectual property of the client upon full and final settlement of the Grand Total Due.
- The Journalist reserves the right to withhold publication of any material until payment is confirmed in full. No part of the deliverables may be reproduced, distributed, or sublicensed without prior written consent.
- This Invoice does not constitute a guarantee of editorial decisions. The client retains full editorial control over the final publication of all Journalist-produced content.
- All services rendered comply with the Code of Professional Conduct of the National Union of Nigeria Journalists (NUNJ) and the Press and Ownership Act, 2016.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in Abuja, FCT, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, LFN 2004.
- This Invoice is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Journalist reserves the right to reissue with updated rates.
