Invoice Notes & Payment Instructions
This Invoice is issued by the undersigned Journalist in accordance with the professional services agreement dated 25 May 2025 between the parties. All journalism and media services described herein were performed within the metropolitan area of Pakistan Karachi and are subject to the Press and Publications Ordinance, 1961, as well as the guidelines of the Pakistan Press Council.
- Payment Method: Bank Transfer / Demand Draft payable to "Ahmed Raza Khan" at HBL, Clifton Branch, Karachi. Account No: 0045-1234567890-001. IBAN: PK00HABB00451234567890001.
- Payment Due: This Invoice must be settled in full within fifteen (15) calendar days from the Invoice date. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 1.5% per month as per the terms of the service agreement.
- Tax Compliance: The Journalist has declared all income as per the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. The withholding tax of 5% has been deducted at source by the client and will be credited against the Journalist's annual tax liability filed with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Pakistan Karachi Regional Office.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying services shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Karachi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
- Validity: This Invoice is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Journalist reserves the right to reissue the Invoice with updated tax rates if applicable.
The Journalist confirms that all content produced under this engagement is original, free from plagiarism, and does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights. The client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to publish, reproduce, and distribute the journalistic material in any medium, provided proper byline credit is given to the Journalist.
