Payment Instructions & Notes
This Invoice is issued in accordance with the professional services agreement dated 1 February 2025 between the undersigned Journalist and Editorial Grupo Ibérico, S.L., both domiciled in Madrid, Spain. Payment of the full amount of €10,345.50 is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue, as stipulated in the contractual terms.
Please remit payment via bank transfer to the IBAN listed above. Reference the Invoice number INV-2025-0472 in the transfer description to ensure proper accounting reconciliation. Late payments may be subject to statutory interest as defined by Spanish Royal Decree 4/2013 on late payment in commercial transactions.
All journalistic materials, drafts, recordings, and intellectual property produced under this engagement remain the exclusive property of the Journalist until full payment of this Invoice has been received and confirmed in writing by both parties. Upon settlement, the client receives a non-exclusive licence to publish and distribute the deliverables as outlined in the original contract.
This Invoice has been issued in compliance with the Spanish Tax Agency (Agencia Tributaria) requirements for self-employed professionals (autónomos) operating in the community of Madrid. A digital copy of this Invoice is available upon request in PDF format for the client's records.
Legal Notice: This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for professional journalistic services rendered in Madrid, Spain. The Journalist operates as a registered self-employed professional (autónomo) under the Spanish Social Security system (Régimen Especial de Trabajadores Autónomos — RETA). All services were performed in full compliance with the Spanish Constitution (Article 20, Freedom of Expression and the Press), the Ley Orgánica 4/1981 del Derecho de Información, and applicable data protection legislation.
Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from this Invoice or the underlying services shall be resolved through the competent courts of Madrid, Spain, in accordance with Spanish civil and commercial law. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before initiating any formal legal proceedings.
Confidentiality: The Journalist undertakes to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all unpublished sources, internal editorial strategies, and proprietary information of the client, in line with the professional code of ethics of the Spanish Association of Journalists (Asociación de la Prensa de Madrid).
