Notes & Terms of Service
1. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the professional services agreement dated 25 May 2025 between the Journalist (Nimal Perera) and Ceylon Media Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. All services described herein were performed in the capacity of an independent freelance Journalist operating within Sri Lanka Colombo.
2. All journalistic content, including but not limited to written articles, photographs, video footage, and audio recordings produced under this engagement, shall remain the intellectual property of the Journalist until full payment of this Invoice is received. Upon clearance of payment, the client shall receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to reproduce and distribute the materials across all owned media platforms.
3. The Journalist warrants that all information gathered and reported under this engagement was obtained through legitimate journalistic means in compliance with the Press Council of Sri Lanka guidelines and applicable laws of Sri Lanka Colombo. No defamatory, libelous, or legally actionable content has been produced.
4. Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the services rendered shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka Colombo, and governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
5. This Invoice constitutes the final and complete statement of charges for the services rendered during the period specified. No additional fees or expenses shall be claimed beyond the amounts detailed above unless a written amendment to the service agreement is executed by both parties.
