Terms and Conditions of This Invoice
- This Invoice is issued by the undersigned Journalist in accordance with the freelance media services agreement dated 28 March 2025 between the Journalist and Nile Valley Media Group Ltd., both parties being registered entities operating within Sudan Khartoum.
- Payment of the full amount stated in this Invoice is due within fifteen (15) calendar days of the Invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 2% per month, calculated from the due date until full settlement is received.
- All journalistic materials, including but not limited to written articles, audio recordings, video footage, and photographic archives delivered under this engagement, remain the intellectual property of the Journalist until full payment of this Invoice has been confirmed in writing by the client.
- The Journalist warrants that all reporting conducted in Sudan Khartoum was carried out in compliance with the Sudanese Press and Media Law, the Code of Ethics for Journalists in Sudan, and all applicable local regulations governing the collection and publication of information.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying services shall be resolved through mediation in Sudan Khartoum before either party may pursue litigation in the competent courts of Khartoum.
- This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Journalist reserves the right to reissue the Invoice with applicable adjustments for currency fluctuation or additional administrative fees.
