Invoice Notes & Payment Terms
1. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code (Türk Ticaret Kanunu) and the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Turkey. All services described herein were performed by the undersigned Journalist within the jurisdiction of Turkey Istanbul during the period specified above.
2. Payment for this Invoice shall be made via bank transfer (EFT/Havale) to the IBAN account listed in the "Billed To" section within fifteen (15) calendar days from the Invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at the statutory rate determined by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey.
3. The Journalist confirms that all journalistic work described in this Invoice was conducted in full compliance with the Turkish Press Law (Basın Kanunu No. 5680) and the ethical standards of the Istanbul Press Association. All sources were handled in accordance with data protection requirements under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698).
4. The withholding tax (stopaj) deducted on this Invoice will be reported to the relevant tax office in Turkey Istanbul by the client as the withholding agent. The Journalist will include the net amount in their annual income tax declaration as required by Turkish tax law.
5. Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and arbitration centers located in Istanbul, Turkey. The parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before initiating any formal legal proceedings.
6. This Invoice constitutes the final and complete statement of all journalistic services rendered by the Journalist to the client for the billing period of June 2025. No additional charges shall apply unless a separate written amendment is executed by both parties.
