Invoice Terms, Conditions & Legal Notice
This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax (VAT) as enforced by the Federal Tax Authority of the United Arab Emirates Dubai. The Journalist named herein holds a valid press card and media practitioner license issued by the Dubai Media Office, United Arab Emirates Dubai, and all services rendered are conducted in full compliance with UAE media regulations and the Dubai Press and Media Authority guidelines.
- Payment: Full payment of this Invoice is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the Invoice date. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Journalist's designated account at Emirates NBD Bank, United Arab Emirates Dubai branch (IBAN: AE07024000000000000000000).
- Late Payment: Overdue amounts on this Invoice shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month in accordance with UAE commercial law. The Journalist reserves the right to suspend all ongoing and future services until the Invoice balance is settled in full.
- Intellectual Property: All journalistic content, articles, photographs, video footage, and editorial materials produced by the Journalist under this Invoice remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Journalist until full payment is received. Upon clearance of this Invoice, the Client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual license to publish and distribute the content within the United Arab Emirates Dubai and internationally.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in the United Arab Emirates Dubai in accordance with the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC). The governing law of this Invoice is the law of the United Arab Emirates Dubai.
- Confidentiality: The Journalist agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all source materials, unpublished information, and proprietary data accessed during the performance of services detailed in this Invoice, in compliance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
- Validity: This Invoice is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Journalist may reissue the Invoice with updated terms as required by the Federal Tax Authority of the United Arab Emirates Dubai.
