Terms, Conditions & Important Notes
- This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act, 2017, and all applicable provisions of Indian tax law. The Judge's professional services are classified under SAC 998359 (Legal Services) for the purpose of GST computation.
- Payment is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this Invoice. The client is requested to remit the total amount of ¥ 485,550.00 via NEFT/RTGS to the account details provided below. Cheques should be drawn in favour of "Hon. Justice Arvind R. Mehta" and made payable at Bangalore, Karnataka.
- All services rendered by the Judge were performed in a strictly impartial and independent capacity. The Judge has no prior or ongoing financial, personal, or professional relationship with either party to the disputes adjudicated upon, ensuring full compliance with the Code of Conduct for Mediators and Arbitrators under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended).
- The written opinions, judgments, and memoranda referenced in this Invoice are the intellectual property of the Judge and are provided solely for the client's internal legal and compliance use. Reproduction or distribution without prior written consent is prohibited.
- In the event of any dispute arising from this Invoice or the services described herein, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
- This Invoice constitutes a final and complete statement of all charges. No additional fees shall be levied beyond the amounts specified herein unless a written amendment is mutually executed by both parties.
- The client acknowledges that the Judge's participation in the Bangalore International Arbitration Moot Court Competition and the Bangalore Bar Association Symposium was conducted in a voluntary, non-binding advisory capacity, and no judicial authority of the court was exercised in those forums.
