Important Notes Regarding This Invoice
This Invoice is issued in accordance with the billing provisions set forth in the retainer agreement between the client and Hartwell, MacLeod & Associates LLP. All legal fees are calculated at the standard hourly rate of $325.00 CAD per hour, as agreed upon in writing. Disbursements are billed at cost and are subject to the same applicable Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) rate of 13% as levied in the Province of Ontario, Canada Toronto.
The Lawyer and the firm maintain full records of all time entries, correspondence, and documentation supporting the charges reflected in this Invoice. The client is entitled to request a detailed itemized statement of account upon written request, in accordance with the Law Society of Ontario's rules on billing transparency.
Please note that this Invoice does not include any contingency fees, as the matter was handled on a standard hourly billing basis. Should the client wish to dispute any portion of this Invoice, written notice must be provided to the firm within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Invoice date.
