Terms and Conditions of This Invoice
- This Invoice constitutes a formal billing statement issued by the Lawyer, Ms. Catherine M. Harbour, acting in her capacity as a licensed Barrister and Solicitor in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. The Invoice is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Canada Vancouver.
- All professional fees listed in this Invoice are billed at the standard hourly rate of $325.00 CAD per hour, as agreed upon in the Retainer Agreement dated April 28, 2025. Any change in rate will be communicated in writing prior to the rendering of additional services.
- Disbursements are billed at cost and are subject to the client's right to review supporting receipts. The Lawyer shall provide itemized receipts for any disbursement exceeding $100.00 upon written request.
- The client acknowledges that this Invoice reflects all legal services rendered up to and including June 10, 2025. No additional fees will be incurred for the matter referenced herein unless the engagement is extended in writing.
- In the event of a dispute regarding the amounts stated in this Invoice, the client may request a detailed account of the Lawyer's time and expenses in accordance with Rule 3.2 of the Law Society of British Columbia's Rules of Professional Conduct. The client may also apply to the Law Society for a cost assessment if the matter proceeds to a court-ordered accounting.
- This Invoice does not constitute a guarantee of any particular legal outcome. The Lawyer's professional judgment and the exercise of legal discretion in the handling of the matter are not subject to billing disputes.
