A late payment penalty of 2% per month will be applied to any outstanding balance after the due date, in accordance with the retainer agreement signed on 01 May 2025. The Lawyer reserves the right to suspend all ongoing legal representation and court appearances in DR Congo Kinshasa until full payment of this Invoice has been received and cleared.
1. This Invoice constitutes a formal billing document issued by the undersigned Lawyer and legal firm in compliance with the professional regulations of the Barreau de Kinshasa, DR Congo. All fees are quoted in Congolese Francs (CDF) and are subject to the prevailing tax regulations of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
2. The services described herein were rendered exclusively in the jurisdiction of Kinshasa, DR Congo, and are governed by the laws of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, including the Code de Procédure Civile et Commerciale, the Code Civil, and the OHADA Uniform Acts as applicable.
3. Any dispute arising from this Invoice or the underlying legal engagement shall be resolved by the competent courts of Kinshasa, DR Congo, or by arbitration before the Centre pour l'Arbitrage et la Médiation de Kinshasa (CAMEK), at the sole discretion of the Lawyer.
4. The client acknowledges that this Invoice reflects all professional services rendered to date. Additional services, court appearances, or filings beyond the scope of the original retainer will be invoiced separately upon completion.
