Important Invoice Terms
- This Invoice must be settled in full within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of issuance. Payment is due no later than 30 June 2025.
- Payment shall be made in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) via bank transfer to the firm's designated account at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Branch: Bole, Ethiopia Addis Ababa. Account Name: Ababa Legal Counsel & Associates PLC. Account No.: 1000-4521-8876-3321.
- In the event of late payment, a penalty interest of 2% per month shall be applied to the outstanding balance, in accordance with the Ethiopian Civil Code provisions on contractual obligations and the terms of the retainer agreement signed between the Lawyer and the client.
- This Invoice constitutes a final and binding statement of all professional fees and expenses incurred by the Lawyer and the firm for the services rendered during the stated period. No additional charges shall be levied for the services itemized herein.
- The client acknowledges that all legal advice, documentation, and court representations described in this Invoice were performed by a duly licensed Lawyer registered with the Ethiopian Bar Association and authorized to practice law in Ethiopia Addis Ababa and throughout the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
- Any dispute arising from this Invoice or the underlying legal services shall be resolved through the Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Proclamation (No. 1221/2020) or, failing arbitration, through the competent courts of Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
- This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the firm reserves the right to suspend all ongoing legal representation until the outstanding balance is cleared in full.
I, the undersigned, hereby declare that this Invoice accurately reflects all professional legal services rendered by me, in my capacity as a practicing Lawyer in Ethiopia Addis Ababa, to the client named above. All fees charged are in accordance with the Ethiopian Bar Association's recommended fee schedule and the terms of our written retainer agreement. I further confirm that all services were performed with the utmost professional diligence, ethical conduct, and in full compliance with the Ethiopian Lawyers' Code of Conduct and the Federal Courts Proclamation.
