A late payment surcharge of 2% per month shall apply on overdue amounts as per the terms agreed upon in the retainer agreement.
- This Invoice constitutes a formal demand for payment for legal and professional services rendered by the Lawyer, Adv. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, in his capacity as an Advocate practicing in India New Delhi. The services described herein were performed in accordance with the Code of Conduct under the Advocates Act, 1961.
- All fees charged are exclusive of court fees, stamp duty, and out-of-pocket expenses, which are billed at actuals as itemized above. The Lawyer shall provide original receipts for all court and registry payments made on behalf of the client.
- GST at the applicable rate of 18% has been charged on professional legal services as mandated under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This Invoice is issued in compliance with the GST regulations applicable in India New Delhi and the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
- The client acknowledges that this Invoice covers services rendered up to the date of issue. Any additional legal work, court appearances, or advisory sessions beyond the scope described herein shall be subject to a separate Invoice and prior written authorization from the client.
- Confidentiality: All information, documents, and communications exchanged in connection with this matter are subject to the attorney-client privilege as recognized under Indian law. The Lawyer shall not disclose any client information to third parties except as required by law or court order.
- This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. The client is requested to process payment within the stipulated due date to avoid any escalation of the matter or suspension of ongoing legal representation.
- In the event of any dispute regarding the fees or services described in this Invoice, the matter shall be resolved through mutual negotiation. Failing amicable resolution, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India New Delhi.
- The Lawyer reserves the right to withdraw from the matter upon thirty (30) days' written notice, in which case a pro-rata adjustment of fees shall be made, and a revised Invoice shall be issued accordingly.
