Invoice Terms and Conditions
- This Invoice constitutes a formal demand for payment for all legal services rendered by the Lawyer to the Client in Baghdad, Iraq, during the period specified above. Payment is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of issue as stated herein.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the following account: Al-Rashid & Partners Legal Firm, Bank of Baghdad, Branch: Al-Mansour, Account No. 0044-7788-2211-9900, SWIFT: BKBGIQBB. Alternatively, payment may be made in Iraqi Dinar cash at the firm’s Baghdad office during business hours (Saturday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Failure to remit payment by the due date shall incur a late payment penalty of 2% per month, calculated on the outstanding balance, in accordance with Article 228 of the Iraqi Civil Code. The Lawyer reserves the right to suspend all ongoing legal representation and withdraw from the matter upon thirty (30) days of non-payment.
- All services described in this Invoice were performed in strict compliance with the Code of Professional Conduct of the Iraqi Bar Association and the ethical standards governing legal practice in Baghdad. The Lawyer confirms that no conflict of interest existed at the time of engagement.
- This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the amounts listed herein shall be subject to recalculation based on prevailing Iraqi Dinar exchange rates and any applicable statutory fee adjustments.
- The Client acknowledges that this Invoice does not constitute a guarantee of any particular legal outcome. The Lawyer’s obligation is to provide diligent, competent, and zealous representation in accordance with Iraqi law, not to ensure a specific judicial or administrative result.
- All disputes arising from this Invoice or the underlying legal engagement shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts of Baghdad, Iraq, in accordance with the jurisdictional provisions of the Iraqi Code of Civil Procedure.
- This Invoice is issued in two (2) original copies, one retained by the Lawyer’s office in Baghdad and one delivered to the Client. Both copies carry equal legal validity under Iraqi commercial law.
