Terms and Conditions of This Invoice
- This Invoice is payable within fourteen (14) calendar days from the Invoice date of 15th June 2025. Failure to remit payment by the due date of 30th June 2025 shall attract a late payment penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding balance, as stipulated in the Retainer Agreement.
- All professional services rendered by the Lawyer are governed by the Advocates Act, Cap 260 of the Laws of Uganda, and the Rules of the Law Society of Uganda. The Lawyer in Uganda Kampala reserves the right to suspend further legal work if payment is not received within the stipulated period.
- Payments shall be made via bank transfer to Stanbic Bank, Uganda Kampala Branch, Account Number 0102-3456-7890, or by cheque payable to "Adv. Grace Nakato & Associates." Cash payments are not accepted for this Invoice.
- The Lawyer shall not be held liable for any court costs, penalties, or adverse judgments arising from the client's failure to provide timely instructions or documentation. This Invoice covers only the services explicitly itemized above.
- Any dispute arising from this Invoice or the underlying legal services shall be resolved through arbitration in Uganda Kampala in accordance with the Arbitration Act, Cap 4 of the Laws of Uganda, or by the courts of competent jurisdiction in Kampala, Uganda.
- This Invoice constitutes a binding financial document. The Lawyer in Uganda Kampala shall retain all original case files and working papers until full and final payment of this Invoice has been confirmed in writing.
- Confidentiality: All information contained in this Invoice and the associated legal matter is strictly confidential and protected under the professional obligations of the Lawyer as set out in the Law Society of Uganda's Code of Professional Conduct.
