Payment Terms & Conditions
This Invoice is issued in accordance with the professional services agreement (Contract No. CT-2025-LIB-012) between Dr. Amira Benali, Professional Librarian, and the Bibliothèque Municipale d'Alger, Algiers, Algeria. Payment of the full amount of 547,400.00 DZD (Five Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Algerian Dinars) is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue of this Invoice, no later than 15 July 2025.
Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the following account: BNA (Banque Nationale d'Algérie), Account No. 002 00000 1234567890 12, IBAN: DZ76 0020 0000 1234 5678 9012, in the name of Dr. Amira Benali, Algiers, Algeria. Please reference Invoice No. INV-2025-ALG-0047 on all remittances.
Late payments are subject to a penalty of 1.5% per month of delay, in compliance with Algerian commercial law (Ordonnance No. 75-59 of 26 September 1975, as amended). This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Any dispute arising from this Invoice shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the commercial courts of Algiers, Algeria.
Additional Notes1. All librarian services described in this Invoice were performed on-site at the Bibliothèque Municipale d'Alger, Algiers, Algeria, during the service period specified above. The Librarian adhered to all professional ethical standards set forth by the Algerian Association of Librarians and Information Professionals (ALIP).
2. The digital cataloguing work (Item 2) has been completed and verified by the client's IT department. All metadata records have been imported into the SIGB platform and are accessible to the public through the Algiers municipal library portal.
3. The preservation assessment report (Item 5) has been delivered in both hard copy (2 copies) and digital PDF format. The Librarian recommends that the client prioritize the digitization of the 45 most fragile manuscripts within the next 12 months to prevent irreversible deterioration.
4. This Invoice constitutes the final and complete billing for all librarian services rendered under Contract No. CT-2025-LIB-012 for the month of May 2025. No additional charges shall apply unless a written amendment to the contract is executed by both parties in Algiers, Algeria.
5. The Librarian reserves the right to publish anonymized case studies derived from this engagement in professional journals, provided that no confidential client data is disclosed and prior written consent is obtained from the Bibliothèque Municipale d'Alger.
