Payment Terms & Instructions
This Invoice must be settled in full within thirty (30) calendar days from the issue date, no later than July 15, 2025. Payment shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account below. Late payments are subject to a monthly interest rate of 1.5% in accordance with Brazilian commercial law (Código Civil, Art. 412).

1. All Librarian services described in this Invoice were performed in compliance with the professional standards established by the Conselho Federal de Biblioteconomia (CFB) and the ethical code of the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA).
2. The services rendered in Brazil São Paulo are subject to the applicable municipal tax (ISS) levied by the Prefeitura Municipal de São Paulo. The tax amount is itemized above for full transparency.
3. All intellectual property rights in cataloging records, metadata, and curatorial documentation created during the service period remain the property of the client, Instituto Cultural Paulista, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment and does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of outcomes beyond the scope of professional Librarian services as defined in the original service agreement dated March 1, 2025.
5. Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of the city of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil, in accordance with Brazilian civil and commercial law.
6. The Lead Librarian, Prof. Ricardo Almeida, holds a Master of Library Science (M.L.S.) from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and is registered with the professional council under license CRL-SP-4521. All supporting staff are certified in archival and conservation practices.
7. This document is valid as a fiscal document (nota fiscal) for accounting and tax purposes in Brazil. A digital copy in XML format is available upon request via the electronic invoicing system (NF-e).
