Important Notes & Terms
1. This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Egyptian Tax Authority regulations and the Civil Code of the Arab Republic of Egypt. All amounts are denominated in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and are subject to the 14% Value Added Tax as mandated by the Egyptian government.
2. The Librarian, Dr. Nour El-Sayed Hassan, holds a Doctorate in Library and Information Science from the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, and is a certified member of the Egyptian Library Association (ELA) and the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA).
3. All services rendered in Egypt Alexandria were performed in compliance with the Egyptian Copyright Law (Law No. 82 of 2002) and the Alexandria Municipal Cultural Heritage Preservation Ordinance. No original manuscripts were removed from the Egypt Alexandria municipal archive premises during the digital migration process.
4. Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the Invoice date. A late payment penalty of 1.5% per month will be applied to any outstanding balance after the due date of July 15, 2025.
5. This Invoice constitutes a final and complete statement of services rendered. Any additional work beyond the scope described herein will be subject to a separate Invoice and prior written approval from both parties.
6. The client acknowledges that all metadata, cataloging records, and research guides produced under this engagement remain the intellectual property of the Librarian unless otherwise specified in a separate licensing agreement.
7. Disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through the competent courts of Egypt Alexandria, in accordance with Egyptian commercial law.
