Terms and Conditions of This Invoice
This Invoice is issued by the undersigned Librarian in accordance with the professional service agreement dated 15 January 2025 between the Kyoto Municipal Library & Cultural Archive and the Osaka University Department of East Asian Studies. All services described herein were performed within the jurisdiction of Japan Kyoto and are subject to the regulations of the Japanese National Diet Library Act and the Kyoto Prefectural Cultural Properties Protection Ordinance.
- Payment of the full amount stated in this Invoice is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of issue. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Japanese commercial law.
- All Librarian services rendered in Japan Kyoto are covered by professional liability insurance held by the Kyoto Municipal Library & Cultural Archive, Policy No. KML-INS-2025-0091.
- The client acknowledges that all intellectual property, metadata records, and condition reports generated by the Librarian during the course of this engagement remain the joint property of both parties unless otherwise specified in the master service agreement.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through mediation in Japan Kyoto under the jurisdiction of the Kyoto District Court, in accordance with the Civil Code of Japan.
- This Invoice constitutes the final and complete billing for all Librarian services performed during the period of 03 June 2025 through 12 June 2025. No additional charges shall be incurred beyond the amounts listed herein.
