Terms and Conditions of Service
- This invoice represents the final billing for professional librarian services rendered by Mr. James R. Whitfield to the Abu Dhabi Public Libraries Authority for the period January through June 2025. All services were performed within the emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- Payment is due within fifteen (15) calendar days from the invoice date. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as stipulated under UAE commercial law and the terms of the service agreement dated 10 January 2025.
- All intellectual property, metadata records, cataloguing entries, and research outputs produced by the librarian during the course of this engagement shall become the property of the Abu Dhabi Public Libraries Authority upon full settlement of this invoice.
- The librarian services described herein comply with the professional standards set by the United Arab Emirates National Library and Archives Authority and the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) guidelines adopted in the UAE.
- Any disputes arising from this invoice or the associated librarian services agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in accordance with the UAE Arbitration Law Federal Law No. 9 of 2021.
- This invoice is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the amounts may be subject to revision based on prevailing exchange rates or regulatory changes within the United Arab Emirates.
