Terms and Conditions1. This Invoice is issued by Mason Construction & Design Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 08765432), with its registered office at Unit 7, Mason Business Park, 142 Corporation Street, Birmingham, B4 7BQ, United Kingdom.
2. Payment of this Invoice is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the Invoice date, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as applicable in the United Kingdom. Late payments will accrue interest at a rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated on a daily basis.
3. All works described in this Invoice have been carried out in full compliance with the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended), the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, and all applicable Birmingham City Council planning and heritage conditions.
4. The 5% retention amount of £13,136.50 shall be released upon practical completion of Phase 2 and certification by the project architect, no later than 30 September 2025, in line with the JCT Design and Build Contract 2016 governing this engagement.
5. Mason Construction & Design Ltd provides a twelve-month defects liability period from the date of practical completion for all masonry, stonework, and metalwork detailed in this Invoice. Any defects identified within this period in the Birmingham site will be rectified at no additional cost to the client.
6. This Invoice constitutes a formal request for payment under the terms of Contract WMR/INFRA/2025/0034. No work shall be deemed accepted or approved until written confirmation is received from the West Midlands Regional Council project team.
7. All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of all materials, labour, plant, insurance, and overheads unless otherwise stated. No additional charges will be incurred for works within the Birmingham metropolitan area.
