This Invoice documents the professional services provided by the undersigned Mathematician to the Sudan National Water Authority for the period of January 2025 through May 2025. All mathematical modelling, statistical analysis, and computational work was conducted at the client's premises in Sudan Khartoum and at the Mathematician's office at the University of Khartoum. The scope of work encompassed advanced differential equation modelling for Nile River flow prediction, stochastic analysis of seasonal rainfall patterns, and optimization algorithms for irrigation distribution networks across the Khartoum metropolitan area.
| # | Service Description | Period | Rate (SDG) | Hours | Amount (SDG) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Development of partial differential equation models for Nile River hydrological forecasting. The Mathematician designed and validated a system of coupled PDEs incorporating seasonal variability, sediment transport, and tributary inflow parameters specific to the Sudan Khartoum basin. | Jan – Feb 2025 | 850 | 120 | 102,000 |
| 2 | Stochastic analysis and Monte Carlo simulation of rainfall distribution patterns. The Mathematician performed 10,000-iteration Monte Carlo simulations to generate probabilistic rainfall forecasts for the Khartoum region, producing confidence intervals for the Sudan National Water Authority's planning division. | Feb – Mar 2025 | 850 | 96 | 81,600 |
| 3 | Optimization of irrigation water distribution networks using linear and non-linear programming. The Mathematician formulated and solved a multi-objective optimization problem to minimize water loss while maximizing agricultural yield across 47 irrigation schemes in Sudan Khartoum. | Mar – Apr 2025 | 900 | 110 | 99,000 |
| 4 | Statistical validation and peer-review preparation of all mathematical models. The Mathematician conducted rigorous hypothesis testing, cross-validation, and sensitivity analysis on all deliverables, and prepared a 60-page technical report suitable for submission to the Sudan Khartoum scientific review board. | Apr – May 2025 | 900 | 80 | 72,000 |
| 5 | On-site consultation and training workshops for Sudan National Water Authority staff. The Mathematician delivered four half-day workshops in Sudan Khartoum covering numerical methods, statistical inference, and computational mathematics for the client's 32 engineering and scientific personnel. | May 2025 | 1,200 | 20 | 24,000 |
| Subtotal | 378,600 SDG |
| VAT (10% — Sudan Khartoum Standard Rate) | 37,860 SDG |
| Travel & Local Transport within Sudan Khartoum | 4,500 SDG |
| Printing & Binding of Technical Reports | 2,200 SDG |
