Payment Terms & Conditions
This Invoice must be settled in full by the due date of 30 June 2025. Payment shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account of the Meteorologist as listed above, or by check payable to Dr. Helena Vasconcelos Martins.
All services described in this Invoice were rendered in compliance with the professional standards established by the Brazilian Meteorological Society (SBM) and the regulatory framework of INMET in Brazil Brasília.
Late payments are subject to a financial penalty of 1% per month plus interest calculated on the CDI rate, in accordance with Brazilian commercial law (Código Civil, Art. 412).
The Meteorologist reserves the right to suspend ongoing services if payment is not received within 10 business days past the due date stated on this Invoice.
Important Notes
1. This Invoice represents professional meteorological services exclusively. The Meteorologist is not liable for decisions made by the client based on forecasts, as weather predictions inherently carry uncertainty.
2. All meteorological data referenced in this Invoice was sourced from INMET (Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia) stations located in Brazil Brasília and surrounding regions of the Federal District.
3. The Meteorologist confirms that all services were performed in full compliance with the data protection regulations (LGPD – Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados) applicable in Brazil.
4. This Invoice is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. After this period, a revised Invoice reflecting current service rates will be required.
5. For any disputes regarding the services listed in this Invoice, the parties agree to seek resolution through the Consumer Protection Agency (PROCON) in Brazil Brasília or through the competent judicial courts of the Federal District.
