Terms, Conditions & Meteorologist's Notes
- This Invoice is issued in accordance with the professional services agreement (Contract Ref: ARC-MET-2025-019) between the Meteorologist and the Auckland Regional Council. All services were performed in compliance with the New Zealand Meteorological Service (MetService) guidelines and the Auckland Council's procurement policies.
- The Meteorologist warrants that all atmospheric data, forecasts, and climate assessments contained in the deliverables referenced by this Invoice were produced using peer-reviewed methodologies, calibrated instruments, and validated numerical weather prediction models appropriate for the New Zealand Auckland geographic and climatic context.
- All meteorological observations and forecasts provided by the Meteorologist are advisory in nature. While the Meteorologist exercises the highest professional standards, atmospheric conditions in New Zealand Auckland are inherently variable, and no guarantee of absolute forecast accuracy is implied.
- Intellectual property rights in all reports, models, and analyses prepared by the Meteorologist remain with the Meteorologist unless otherwise stated in the master services agreement. The Auckland Regional Council is granted a non-exclusive licence to use the deliverables for internal planning purposes within the New Zealand Auckland region.
- This Invoice is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Should the client require a revised or re-issued Invoice, please contact the Meteorologist's office at the address listed above.
- The Meteorologist is a registered professional with the New Zealand Meteorological Society and holds current professional indemnity insurance (Policy No. PII-NZ-2025-8841) covering all services rendered in New Zealand Auckland.
