Invoice Terms, Conditions & Meteorologist Service Notes
This Invoice is issued in accordance with the professional services agreement (Contract Ref: WCDEA/MSA/2025/0112) between Cape Town Atmospheric Sciences & Meteorological Consulting (Pty) Ltd and the Western Cape Provincial Department of Environmental Affairs. All Meteorologist services described in this Invoice were performed in full compliance with the South African Meteorological Society (SAMS) code of professional conduct and the regulations of the South African Weather Service Act 19 of 1992.
- Payment of this Invoice is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the Invoice date. Late payments will attract interest at the rate prescribed by the National Credit Act, No. 34 of 2005.
- All Meteorologist forecasts, reports, and advisory products referenced in this Invoice are the intellectual property of the service provider and may not be reproduced without written consent.
- The Meteorologist services rendered in South Africa Cape Town were conducted in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, No. 85 of 1993, and all applicable municipal by-laws governing field meteorological operations.
- Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through the South African Dispute Resolution Centre in Cape Town, Western Cape, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, No. 42 of 1965.
- This Invoice is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, the Meteorologist service provider reserves the right to reissue the Invoice with updated administrative charges.
- All amounts stated in this Invoice are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate of 15% as administered by the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
