Payment Terms & Conditions
This Invoice must be settled in full within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue. Payment is to be made via bank transfer to the account of Colombo Atmospheric Sciences Ltd., Commercial Bank of Ceylon, Colombo 03 Branch, Sri Lanka Colombo. Account No: 1010-0045-6789-01. Please reference Invoice No. CAS-2025-00472 on all correspondence and remittance advices.
A late payment penalty of 2% per month will be applied to any outstanding balance beyond the due date of 30 June 2025. The Meteorologist services described in this Invoice are non-refundable once the service period has commenced. All meteorological data, forecasts, and advisory reports generated under this engagement remain the intellectual property of the Sri Lanka Meteorological Department upon full settlement of this Invoice.
Disputes regarding this Invoice shall be resolved through the Sri Lanka Colombo District Court in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
Additional Notes
The Meteorologist, Dr. Nimal Perera, confirms that all forecasting models, atmospheric data sets, and advisory bulletins delivered during the service period were generated using the Sri Lanka Colombo regional calibration parameters approved by the Sri Lanka Meteorological Department. This Invoice covers only the professional Meteorologist consultancy services and does not include the cost of satellite data subscriptions, field equipment maintenance, or travel expenses incurred outside the Sri Lanka Colombo municipal boundary, which are itemized separately under Invoice No. CAS-2025-00473.
The client is advised to retain this Invoice for their official records and for submission to the Sri Lanka Colombo Municipal Council financial audit division as part of the annual meteorological services procurement file. A duplicate copy of this Invoice may be requested by emailing [email protected] with the original Invoice number referenced in the subject line.
