Invoice Notes & Scope Clarification
This Invoice documents the professional services rendered by Dr. Mariana López Herrera, a certified Oceanographer, in the capacity of Lead Oceanographer for the above-referenced marine research project. All fieldwork was conducted in compliance with Argentine maritime regulations, the Ley de Navegación Marítima (Law 20,721), and environmental permits issued by the Autoridad Marítima Nacional.
The Oceanographer's services were performed exclusively within the territorial waters and exclusive economic zone adjacent to Argentina Buenos Aires. All data collected, processed, and delivered under this Invoice remains the intellectual property of the client upon full payment. The Oceanographer retains the right to publish anonymized scientific findings in peer-reviewed journals, subject to a 90-day prior notification to the client.
All equipment used, including the R/V "Araucanía" research vessel, multibeam echosounder, CTD rosette samplers, and sediment corers, was operated by the Oceanographer and her licensed crew in accordance with Argentine maritime safety standards.
Payment Terms & Conditions
Payment Due: Net 30 days from the date of this Invoice (July 15, 2025).
Payment Method: Bank transfer to Banco de la Nación Argentina, CBU: 0110001000001234567890, CUIT: 30-71234567-8.
Late Payment: A penalty of 1.5% per month (or fraction thereof) will be applied to overdue amounts, in accordance with Argentine commercial law (Código Comercial, Art. 635).
Currency: All amounts are expressed in Argentine Pesos (ARS). In the event of significant currency devaluation exceeding 15% between the issue date and payment date, the Oceanographer reserves the right to renegotiate the outstanding balance.
Disputes: Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in Argentina Buenos Aires, under the rules of the Cámara de Comercio de Buenos Aires.
