Important Notes & Conditions
1. All oceanographic services described in this invoice are performed by qualified oceanographers holding certifications from the Universidad de Chile, Facultad de Ciencias del Mar, and the Instituto de Fomento Pesquero (IFOP), Santiago, Chile.
2. This invoice is issued in accordance with the Chilean tax regulations (Ley de IVA, DFL 830) and the requirements of the Servicio de Impuestos Nacionales (SII). The 19% IVA is applied as mandated by Chilean law for domestic service providers.
3. Field operations in the coastal sector are subject to weather conditions and maritime safety regulations enforced by the Armada de Chile and the Dirección General del Territorio Marítimo y Marina Mercante (DIMAR). Any delays caused by force majeure will be communicated in writing within 48 hours.
4. All data collected during the oceanographic survey is the exclusive property of the client (Ministerio de Energía de Chile) upon full payment of this invoice. The Pacific Oceanographic Research Institute retains the right to use anonymized data for academic publication with prior written consent.
5. This invoice is valid for 90 days from the issue date. After this period, a revised invoice reflecting any applicable price adjustments will be issued from our Santiago office.
6. For any disputes arising from this invoice, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Santiago, Chile, in accordance with Chilean civil and commercial law.
