Invoice Terms & Conditions
This Invoice is issued by the undersigned Oceanographer in accordance with the contractual agreement (Reference: CHN-SH-OCEAN-2025-Q2) between the Shanghai Oceanographic Research Institute and the Shanghai Maritime Development Authority. All oceanographic services described in this Invoice were performed within the jurisdiction of China Shanghai and comply with the regulations set forth by the China State Oceanic Administration.
- Payment of this Invoice is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the Invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month as stipulated under China Shanghai commercial law.
- All oceanographic data, sensor readings, and analytical results produced by the Oceanographer team during the course of this engagement remain the intellectual property of the Shanghai Oceanographic Research Institute until full payment of this Invoice is confirmed.
- The Oceanographer reserves the right to publish anonymized findings in peer-reviewed journals, provided that the Shanghai Maritime Development Authority receives a 60-day advance notice prior to publication.
- This Invoice is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through arbitration in China Shanghai under the rules of the Shanghai International Arbitration Center.
- All services rendered by the Oceanographer were conducted in full compliance with the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Marine Environmental Protection regulations applicable to the China Shanghai coastal zone.
- Should any line item in this Invoice be disputed, the client is requested to notify the Oceanographer in writing within fourteen (14) days of receipt. Undisputed portions of this Invoice remain payable on the original due date.
