Terms, Conditions & Notes Regarding This Invoice
1. This Invoice is valid for payment within 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month as stipulated under Egyptian Commercial Law (Law No. 17 of 1999).
2. All oceanographic data, charts, and reports referenced in this Invoice are the intellectual property of the Oceanographer and the Alexandria Oceanographic Institute. The Alexandria Port Authority is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the data for port operations within Egypt Alexandria only.
3. The Oceanographer warrants that all fieldwork was conducted in full compliance with Egyptian environmental regulations, the Ministry of Environment's marine protection directives, and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards applicable to the Mediterranean coastal zone.
4. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account specified above. Checks payable to "Dr. Mahmoud El-Sayed – Alexandria Oceanographic Institute." Please reference Invoice No. ALEX-OCE-2025-0472 on all remittances.
5. Any disputes arising from this Invoice or the associated oceanographic services shall be resolved through the Alexandria Commercial Court in accordance with Egyptian jurisdiction. The parties agree that the services were rendered in Egypt Alexandria and that Egyptian law governs this Invoice and the underlying contract.
6. The Oceanographer reserves the right to publish anonymized scientific findings from the survey in peer-reviewed journals, provided that no confidential operational data of the Alexandria Port Authority is disclosed.
7. This Invoice constitutes the final and complete billing for the services described herein. No additional charges shall apply unless a written change order is executed by both parties prior to the commencement of any additional work.
