Payment Terms and Conditions
This Invoice is issued in accordance with the Ethiopian Commercial Code and the regulations of the Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority. Payment of the full amount of 2,777,000.00 ETB (Two Million Seven Hundred Seventy-Seven Thousand Birr) is due within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue.
Accepted Payment Methods: Bank transfer to Blue Horizon Oceanographic Research Institute, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Account No. 1001-2345-6789, Branch: Bole, Ethiopia Addis Ababa. Mobile payment via Telebirr or CBE Birr is also accepted for partial payments not exceeding 500,000 ETB per transaction.
Penalty: A late payment surcharge of 2% per month will be applied to any outstanding balance after the due date of 15 July 2025, in compliance with Ethiopian commercial law.
Disputes: Any disputes arising from this Invoice shall be resolved through the Ethiopian Commercial Courts in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, or by mutual arbitration under the Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
Additional Notes
This Invoice covers all oceanographic services rendered by the Oceanographer team of Blue Horizon Oceanographic Research Institute during the period of 1 March 2025 to 10 June 2025. All fieldwork was conducted in compliance with Ethiopian environmental regulations and permits issued by the Environmental Protection Authority in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
The Lead Oceanographer, Dr. Amara Bekele, holds a Doctorate in Marine Geophysics from the University of Addis Ababa and is a registered member of the Ethiopian Oceanographers Association (EOA), Licence OCE-ETH-2018-0092. All data collected under this engagement remains the intellectual property of the Ethiopian Ministry of Water and Energy upon full settlement of this Invoice.
Please retain this Invoice for your official records. A duplicate copy may be requested from our billing office in Ethiopia Addis Ababa by referencing Invoice No. BHO-2024-0847.
