Payment Terms and Conditions
This invoice is payable within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of issue, as stipulated under French commercial law (Code de commerce, Article L441-10). Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the following account: Banque Populaire du Rhône, IBAN: FR76 3000 6000 0112 3456 7890 123, BIC: BPFRPP3XXX. A late payment penalty of 1.5% per month will be applied in accordance with French regulations. This invoice constitutes a formal request for payment for oceanographic professional services rendered by a licensed oceanographer operating in France Lyon. All work performed under this engagement complies with the French Environmental Code (Code de l'environnement) and the EU Water Framework Directive. The oceanographer retains full intellectual property rights over all methodologies, models, and analytical frameworks developed during the course of this project, while the client receives a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the final report and associated data for public policy purposes within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Notes and Additional Information
1. This invoice covers all oceanographic fieldwork conducted between 1 March and 30 May 2025. Any additional sampling or analysis requested after the completion of the fieldwork period will be subject to a separate invoice and prior written agreement.
2. The oceanographic data collected during this engagement is classified as "Public – Environmental Monitoring" under French data protection regulations (RGPD / GDPR).
3. All measurements were taken in accordance with the protocols established by the French National Oceanographic Institute (Ifremer) and the European Marine Observation and Data Centre (EMODnet).
4. The oceanographer confirms that all fieldwork was conducted in full compliance with the permits issued by the Préfecture du Rhône and the Direction Régionale de l'Environnement, de l'Aménagement et du Logement (DREAL) for the France Lyon area.
5. A copy of this invoice has been filed with the professional registry of the French Oceanographic Society under reference number OCE-FR-2025-INV-0047.
